This past weekend was the 4th of July and Sunday’s Equinox Cincinnati Pride 2010 parade at Fountain Square, the Queen City’s symbolic meeting place. Before this year, the parade was held in Northside, a Cincinnati neighborhood with a significant queer population. I loved when it was in Northside, but downtown seems much more appropriate for a largely attended event like Pride. Change is good! I look forward to an even better Pride 2011.
